Marketing manager

 

Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving seasonal marketing strategy in close coordination with the CEO.  The position will support the development of global and local campaigns and optimise the execution of all marketing efforts.  A successful candidate will be a strategic person with a minimum of five years experience shared between in-house premium fashion brand and/or agency background, presenting: strong organisational skills, an ability to multitask, and a very ambitious personality.  


Responsibilites

Planning & Strategy

Support creation and manage maintenance of seasonal cross-channel calendars for all brand communication (e.g. social, newsletters, website, advertising, brand collateral, launches, collaborations, PR initiatives and retail/wholesale activations)

Work in close connection with key stakeholders on the development and maintenance of a seasonal product communication plan

Contribute to the creation of channel specific communication strategies including: website content, social media and newsletter

Project Management

Support establishing and implementing new departmental routines, tools and workflows

Plan product launches and wider brand initiatives by coordinating broader considerations and timelines across departments, contributing to the creation of wider strategic briefs

Project manage selected initiatives from beginning to end, contributing to the creation of initial project briefs, timelines and project budgets

Manage the production of marketing collaterals in connection with key initiatives (e.g. presentations and events)

Responsible for managing day-to-day digital brand content planning and distribution across e-commerce, newsletters as well as owned social accounts aligning with the Social Media Manager

Conduct ongoing performance analysis and coordinate all marketing materials, including weekly coverage and share via a weekly brand communications report

Ensure creation of sufficient brand and product information documents on seasonal basis for both internal and external distribution

Manage and process all vendor invoices related to marketing

Coordination

Manage contact with external agencies and effective implementation of seasonal marketing strategy to ensure delivery of successful marketing objectives

Research and facilitate new agency introductions, as well as local market trends and communication technology, fostering relationships between brand personnel and key industry players

Contribute to external agency briefs and developing market launch campaigns

Negotiate and coordinate communication deals connected to brand collaborations or special projects, including wholesale or pop up initiatives


Requirements

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional marketing experience

Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions

Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, customer service and follow-up skills

Ability to build effective partnerships

Strong organizational skills, timely delivery of projects

Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and work against tight deadlines

Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels

Experience from premium fashion in-house marketing department and preferably editorial/agency with detailed understanding of cross-channel communication

Experience translating a brand and product communications strategy into a seasonal calendar and maintaining that throughout the year

Excellent organizational skills with proven track record of attention to detail, respecting creative processes, talent and dynamic workflows, facilitating the delivery of best possible quality while managing timelines

Appreciation of social media and experience working with strategic content planning and maintenance, able to extract relevant data, analyze and share follow ups

Approachable and proactive manner with a hands-on approach, showing great initiative with ability to motivate, develop and inspire less senior colleagues

Great understanding and appreciation of luxury branding and fashion

Strong computer skills (G Suite formerly Google Docs, Asana, Slack, etc.) required
